Blair was referred to me (by someone who knew him) to do a story about the GWS expose. I had spoken to Blair - he knew the gist of what I was about to expose - he knew it was big. Blair did not do the story, yet if you will check, The Spotlight DID do at least one (maybe more) stories on a Gulf War Syndrome expose BY JOYCE RILEY done by the same Mike Blair. In July of 1995, no one had really heard of Joyce Riley and the ONLY videotape that existed on GWS expose was a tape of the ONE AND ONLY presentation Peter Kawaja did on GWS "with" - Joyce Riley. Blair had a copy - Blair KNEW who had the evidence, Blair heard the video where Joyce Riley stated: "I had no evidence of my own, and it was a godsend when someone told me about a guy in Florida named Kawaja................ (and on that same tape Joyce Riley still talking) "Peter Kawaja is THE KEY to this ENTIRE STORY"..................

CARTO - the editor of THE SPOTLIGHT stated on a signed paper; he NEVER HEARD of Peter Kawaja. Biermann sent him SPECIFIC information on Peter Kawaja AND then sent Carto the entire 100 page document authored and put together by Biermann. That was 1995, and Biermann gets a letter from CARTO in 1996 - claiming he doesn't KNOW OF Peter Kawaja. Mike Blair spoke with Peter Kawaja in 1995 and was SUPPOSED TO DO A STORY on the Gulf War with information supplied BY Peter Kawaja.
THAT was SQUASHED and instead a RUSE story by Joyce Riley was published by THE SPOTLIGHT !
RE-READ the docs by Biermann; he asks the Spotlight and Carto - WHY and HOW is it you did not even publish ONE article on Peter Kawaja. Biermann sent Carto the OPEN LETTER to JOYCE RILEY. Carto states "never heard of Peter Kawaja, have you made any effort to enlighten us"?
